What is rake?

Rake is the money the the poker room collects on almost every pot. This is how they make money. The collection of rake is almost transparent to the player and many people do not know that this is the cost of poker.

What is "rake back" or "rake rebate"?

Rakeback, as it is commonly called, is when you receive a portion of the rake that is collected given back to you is some form.

How can you offer this?

When the rake is collected the poker rooms pay the affiliates a share of that rake as a commision for referring players. We then pass most or all of that fee back to you.

Who is eligible for these rakeback offers?

Any one who does not already have an account at a poker room we offer rakeback is eligible as long as the meet the poker rooms requirements to open an account.

Why should I sign up for rakeback?

When you play poker someone is making money from the rake. If you do not use a rakeback offer, then the poker room and your affiliate (if any) are the ones making the money. You could play with a rake rebate, but when you have a rake back plan that is more money in your pocket.

Are there any hidden fees or costs?

There is never a cost to use our service. While most methods to transfer your money are free, some poker rooms require you play a number of hands before you may cash out. The only fees you may encounter are fees by Neteller or Paypal to transfer money.

How do I know RakeEscape is trustworthy?

While we offer players 17%-35% we only keep 3%-5% for ourselves. The rest of the money is kept by the poker rooms.

How do I know how much rake I have actually paid to the site?

The easiest way is with a program the tracks it for you. CryptoCounter will count your rake at Poker Plex, InterPoker, Classic Poker and Carribean Sun Poker. Otherwise you need to buy something like Poker Tracker to count at other sites.

Do I need to play any minimum number of hands a month to receive payment?

Yes, you must play 1 hand and the hand must be raked. If you earn $0.01 that is your money and you will never lose it.

What happens to my rake when I get a bonus?

Many sites count the bonus against the rake you have earned but a few do not. If you have any question about the specific site you are playing, please user the e-mail link on the menu bar on the left to ask us your specific question.

How do you know how much rake I've paid each month?

We receive reports from the poker room that are broken down by player. Other sites that have automatic plan keep track of that for the player and affiliate.

Will I receive rake back on tournament fees also?

A "skin" is a poker room that shares the same tables and players. Think of it as a different door to the same room. Depending on which door you go through is who collects your portion of the rake.
